![]() Pastebot supports the copying and pasting of both text, and images. One stores all the current content of your iPhone's clipboard, the other is entitled 'Folders' and allows for custom specific folders to be created by you, to store your clippings. Opening the app you'll be greeted with two sections. Pastebot temporarily stores everything you cut and copy within iPhone OS, in one tidy interface. It's a little known fact, but the iPhone's clipboard can hold much more than just one item, and Pastebot proves it. But then you needed to e-mail these to a friend or client, in this case you'd be able to paste the section of the note quite easily, as it's the last item you copied, but you'd have to go back and re-copy the URL. Picture this, you go to a website, and copy the URL, and then go to a note and copy a section of that note. The only problem is that from an iPhone OS users point of view, this only allows access to the last item you cut or copied. When Copy and Paste was first introduced onto the iPhone with the introduction of iPhone OS 3.0, the majority of people liked the feature, and most of us I imagine still use it today. What this basically means is you can manage anything you copy and paste with iPhone OS 3.0 or later, and store it in Pastebot. Pastebot is a system utility for iPhone OS for managing and editing items on your iPhone or iPod's clipboard. I got the chance to be involved with Tapbots as they beta tested this in private, and I'm now here to give you my opinion of it. Once Pastebot is running, anything you copy will be stored on the Clipboard. You may add other applications to Pastebot’s Blacklist in the Preferences. The MacOS Keychain and 1Password are already blacklisted from Pastebot so no sensitive data copied from those apps will be stored by Pastebot. Pastebot allows you to add these applications to a blacklist that Pastebot will ignore. Or maybe you copy from certain apps often, but never plan to reuse the data and want to keep Pastebot from storing them. You may have applications that use the pasteboard for sensitive data like password managers. This must be enabled and Pastebot should work properly after. Under Accessibility you should see the Pastebot in the list. Open your system preferences, navigate to the Security & Privacy section, and then Privacy tab. Use Pastebot’s powerful search to quickly find clippings and modify clippings as you paste with a filter. Create custom pasteboards to organize and permanently store clippings you want to reuse. Pastebot is a clipboard manager that stores the last 200 items you copy (editable in the preferences).
